RCCG Mount Carmel

The RCCG MOUNT CARMEL is a church where anyone can be transformed by the story of Jesus. We are a multicultural Christian congregation that meets.

People are transformed as they experience and contribute to four dynamic steps of discipleship. Everything we do is designed to help people experience the good news in these four ways

Introducing People to the Real Jesus
Lots of people know about Jesus in our part of the world. Many would tell you they love Jesus. They grew up in church and cry every Easter. They have Bibles in their homes. Scriptures are hanging on their walls. Jesus seems to be a big part of their lives. He’s just not the center. Their lives are not that much different than everyone else’s.

What if more is possible? What if Jesus is bigger than you think He is? Better than you think He is? More loving than you think He is? More gracious than you think He is? What if there’s a joy and a peace available to you that you dare not imagine?

Our mission at Church on the Move is to introduce people to the real Jesus. The real Jesus is so much more than a consultant offering you a better life. He is so much more than a hero to admire or a teacher to emulate. Jesus is the very power that created the Universe. He is the center of all things and the One for whom all things exist.

Our Church began in an apartment clubhouse with 65 people in February of 1988 and has grown to more than 14,000 attending every week at our 13 campuses. Our vision has always been to reach unchurched people by speaking the language of the modern culture, and provide a place that encourages non-believers to investigate Christianity at their own pace.

We approach the historical Christian faith in a contemporary, unconventional way. We’ve created a seeker-sensitive atmosphere that aims to welcome all people, no matter where they are in their spiritual journey.

We believe the Bible is the sole basis of our faith. It is uniquely God-inspired, trustworthy, and the final authority. Based on the Bible’s teaching, there is one God who sent his Son for our sins by dying on the cross as our substitute. By the Holy Spirit believers are drawn to Christ and equipped for personal growth. Our aim at Seacoast, as the Church, is to glorify God and make him known.

We’re more than a staff; we’re a family. We are dedicated followers of Jesus, who use our unique God-given talents and passions to spread God’s Word across the globe, as well as to help one another grow and follow the calling God has placed on our lives. Every campus has its own personality, but together, we are one.

We’re confident that no matter which campus a person attends, they will experience powerful worship. A special part of every service is Response Time, which gives everyone the chance to consider what God might be asking them to do in response to the worship and message.
